Black Tie Affair, affectionately known as BeBop

- Height: 16.1 hh

- Personality: 3–4, primarily due to her age

BeBop leads, ties, loads, bathes, and clips well. After a year in training, she is currently enjoying a much-needed break at pasture with an older Percheron gelding.

This summer, BeBop was shown walk/trot by a 12-year-old rider at two local outdoor shows in NH and one large coliseum show in MA. She was amazingly sane and steady in both settings, taking care of her equally green rider.

Under saddle, BeBop is more “whoa” than “go.” In harness, she is a bit more forward. On the ground, she is completely in your pocket and unfazed by dogs, chickens, tractors, or other horses. She is always the first to greet people at the pasture or fence and will gladly leave her grazing to investigate their pockets.

BeBop is still considered green, as she has years of growing and learning ahead. She is a sweet, sensible young horse with a wonderful foundation and a bright future.
